DIY Hand Sanitizer
Right now, during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, hand sanitizer is a big demand. But what’s the rush to buy hand sanitizer when you can make it at home by yourself?
You need a 2/3 cup of rubbing alcohol that is 90% concentrated or higher. Find it here: You also need 1/3 cup of aloe vera gel so that your hands are not completely dried out. Find that here: You can also use a couple of essential oil drops, or you can just use lemon juice! Here are some prime essential oils: A drop of food coloring is also a great way to jazz up your homemade hand sanitizer. A good way to let recycling play into this is by reusing old hand sanitizer dispensers for the mixture, or just use a spray bottle!
First, start out by mixing the rubbing alcohol and aloe vera gel together. Then add any essential oils, but NOT TOO MUCH. Lemon juice is also a more affordable option! Then put the mixture into either a spray bottle or a dispenser!
